Do You Need Cleaning Help?
The Root of the Appearing Spots in Your Carpet

Have you ever tried cleaning your carpet and after a few days or weeks, there are ugly spots appearing all over your carpet? You may think that hiring a carpet cleaning professional can solve this irritating problem. But no, you are wrong.

There are carpet cleaning professionals who can just make your carpet problem worse. You’ll see, more and more spots will invade your carpet after you have paid a professional to make them disappear.

The Real Root of the Spot Problem

So, what is the real root of the nasty spots on your carpet? Let’s go back to the cleaning process done to your carpet. It could be like this or almost similar to this step-by-step procedure:

1.Use of pre-spray. Carpet cleaning professionals and household cleaners usually use this before actually cleaning the carpet.

The pre-spray is commonly an alkaline detergent, which helps in loosening the dirt up before all these dirt are removed during the cleaning process.

2.Rinsing. You may think that this is still a correct procedure. But this step is where the mistakes happen.

Many domestic alkaline detergents have about 8 up to 14 pH level, which is very high and unbalanced for the carpet.

Sometimes, professionals and maybe you as well, use hot water only to balance out the pH level. But doing this is not helpful for the carpet. Hot water can even worsen the carpet problem.

There, you know where the problem came from. Now, how about the solution? Fortunately, it’s not yet time for you to change that expensive carpet. Your best buddy for this problem is called neutralization.

How Neutralization Helps in the Carpet Spots?

Neutralization is a very essential step to remove the alkaline detergents from your carpet. Through this, you can prevent the alkaline from continuously damaging your carpet. You may not notice it immediately because the damage becomes conspicuous only after about a few weeks. And, the worst part it, that culprit continues to destroy your carpet without you knowing it.

All carpet cleaning professionals know this process. But expect some not to know this because they were not certified to really do the job.

Sadly, there is no mandatory certification for carpet cleaning professionals. Anyone can claim that they know how to do the job. But the truth is, they will only take your money away and leave your carpet with all its mess.

Don’t despair, though, because there are certification bodies giving the real professionals a credibility to do a great job.

So, if you are looking for a carpet cleaning professional, better look for any certification first. If they don’t have, then ask the method they will use to clean your carpet. Never hire a professional that will not use any neutralization process for your carpet.
