Neat Tips For A Big Cleaning Job
Everybody wants a spick-n-span home, but the question is, how much are you willing to do to attain and maintain a clean and neat house? For most people who are busy at work and other activities, general house cleaning and regular maintenance may be a daunting task, so here are some house cleaning tips that will make the job much easier for you.

Plan it. List down everything you need to do, and figure out the most effective way to do it. Have a list of all the materials you’ll need so that you don’t have to drop everything and rush to the supermarket in the middle of your cleaning. Having a schedule will help you clean little by little while making sure that the whole job gets finished.
Start with tough jobs. Start by putting everything where you want it to be, even if it’s not clean yet. Tidiness will give you more room to maneuver when cleaning. Vacuuming, for example, will be much easier when you don’t have stuff scattered on the floor.
Be organized and mobile. Now that everything is in order, there’s one more thing you need to do before you’re ready to start cleaning. Check your list of cleaning materials and gather everything you can in a bag or any container. This will allow you to keep track of your things and move them around more easily when you have to change location. This may seem like a small thing, but you may be surprised at how much time and effort you’ll save by doing this. Some quintessential cleaning products are cleaning cloths (a.k.a. rags), polish or wax, and glass cleaner. Not many people may know this, but vinegar is an effective, eco friendly alternative to commercial cleaning solutions.
Have a container handy for stuff you want to throw away.
Downwards and outwards. Start with the highest things that need cleaning (you ceiling, or your lights, or the top of a shelf) and then move your way down to the floor. By doing this, you’ll make sure that all the undesirable elements are on the floor by the time you get to clean it. Also, start with the parts of the room that are furthest from the door, so you don’t sweep yourself into a corner.

Finish small jobs. It’s probably a good idea to clean one section at a time. Aside from saving time, you’ll have the satisfaction of seeing a sample of what your whole house could look like.
