One of the most important to thing to note about wool carpets it is long lasting. As long as you are able to care for it the right way you will have more use for it than other types of carpets. What makes it easier to do so is its being resistant to soiling.

To maintain the good look of your wool carpet, vacuuming it three times a week would do the job. To effectively do this, you only have to make sure that you have quality vacuum cleaner and you have a good working vacuum belt in it.
 
When spills happen, all you need to do is to blot it out. Using alkaline and bleaches are not advisable as it may damage your wool carpet.
 
Since wool carpets are expensive you may also want to have the professional carpet cleaners do the cleaning. Even if you do the regular cleaning, you may also have to make the professionals clean your wool carpet every 12 to 18 months.
