If your grill is stainless steel or plated, you simply need to take the grill out of the unit. Spray it with cleaner and place it in a plastic bag for a night. In case you own kettle grills, keep in mind not to use oven cleaner on its painted exterior or on any other aluminum parts. Using a heavy degreaser solution will be also helpful to eliminate greasy deposits.
