Every home has its special specifications.  And because of this, cleaning method varies from one home type to another.  If you have a home which has hardwood flooring, below are the quick cleaning tips that you can follow:
a.      Use soft bristled broom for your hardwood floor. Hardwood floor needs specialized brooms as hard bristled brooms can cause damaging scratches on it.  So, it is best that you use soft brooms to avoid hard to remove scratches.
b.     When possible, instead of using broom, use vacuum instead.  The vacuum has specialized cleaning mechanism that can avoid further damaging your floor. You can use built-in vacuum or the traditional vacuum cleaner. 
c.      Never let water spill on hardwood floor.  If and when the water spill happens, immediately mop the floor and coat the hardwood floor with specialized chemicals to keep it shining.
d.     When possible, avoid wearing shoes inside the house. The shoe heels are the main cause of dents on floor.  Dents on floor are such heavy stains that not all stain removing chemicals are able to remove easily.
