Published on Sunday, 09 May 2010
When your house has air conditioning units that are frequently being used, the need to dust them off is essential and mandatory. Otherwise, if you leave you're A/C units exposed to dust, it could affect the cooling mechanism that they have. Of course, you would not want to be paying too much energy bill for a performance that is efficient. In order to avoid this kind of a situation, the following cleaning tips are being suggested:
Check the filters from time to time. Dirty filters usually block the air from flowing freely, thus will cause malfunction in the overall performance of the A/C unit. You can just barely look at the filters from the outside case of the A/C unit and when you see accumulated black thing on it, then that could mean to too much dust on it. Hire someone to check on the evaporator coil of the A/C unit. The evaporator coil helps in regulating the cool and warm effect of the unit. With the evaporating coil dirty, it would usually result into warm temperature. Check from time to time if the A/C's installation has not been displaced. The displacement of any screw on the A/C can cause damage to the unit.
You're A/C units like any other electronic devices should be taken care of. More often these are the best suggested dusting off tips.
