Returning spots are most commonly caused by deep down dirt.It is usually dirt or a spill found at the carper backing (this is the trap -like material behind the fiber) or in the cushion padding below the carpet.Once these spots have been re-wet by cleaning they tend not to show up right away but do once the reying process begin. This is what the professional carper cleaners cal "wick-back".If you are not able to hire a professional carpet cleaner to manage with this then the best way is to not over wet the carpet and re-active the deep stain.Or you can clea it using your method and once it dries and the spot re-appears use a lightly damp towel and only work the stain out of the top fiber.Do not over wet.Wipe gently as not to distort the fiber. The spot will stay there yet it will be below the surface and will not be noticeable. You can also follow this advice:to avoid the return stains covet the spot area with a tick towel (after cleaning) and weigh the towel down with something heavy:a brick, book or other object.Leave the towel on the spot overnight to absorb the liquid and clean the remaining stain.Have in mind that a good professional cleaner is able to properly remove it.

Washing your carpets is not so easy and for sure is a hard work to do.You can choose our company to do this for you and to enjoy the result. But it is all your choice.

If you have finally decided to wash all them you should follow some steps. It is not recommended just to take a wet cloth and get scrubing on the carpet. This will damage the fibres and the volume of the carpet. If you want to enjoy your walking on your carpets at home you should be careful while cleaning them. Before the wet washing you can use the vacuum cleaner to take out the bigger sweepings from it.Don't wash your carpet directly on the floor (if you don't have a special wash-vacuum cleaner) in reason not to damage the floor covering. You can use the verandah or the bathroom -of course this depends on the carpet's size. When you are ready with the vacuuming you van take a stiff wet cloth or special brush. Here you can apply the shampoo method.Make a mixture of hot water and shampoo with pleasent fragrance.Rub careful and follow the direction of the fibres.Use gloves to protect your hands. After this you can put the carpet on the verandah to take some breath and sun-this will help the fibres to get dry in natural way.If you don't have an openaired verandah you can use a drier.Leave the carpet for three or four days to dry.Land it on the floor and do not walk on it for some days because the high traffic on it will cause damages.

Special Carpet Problems

When your carpet is burned, stained, or discolored, you could simply move a big chair over the spot and forget about it. Or you can use one of the following simple methods to restore your carpet to its original good looks.
  • If the spot remover you use alters the color of your carpet, try touching up small places with artists' acrylic paint. If acrylic paint doesn't work, try using a felt-tip marker or a permanent-ink marker of the appropriate color. Go slowly, and blend the color into the fibers.
  • To raise depressions left in a carpet by heavy furniture, try steaming. Hold a steam iron close enough for steam to reach the carpet, but don't let the iron touch the fibers, especially if they are synthetic, because they could melt. Lift the fibers by scraping them with the edge of a coin or spoon.
  • If a carpet thread is loose, snip it level with the pile. If you try to pull out the thread, you risk unraveling part of the carpet.
  • To repair a large carpet burn, cut out the damaged area and substitute a patch of identical size and shape. Secure the new piece of carpeting with double-sided carpet tape or a latex adhesive.
  • To repair a small area burned down to the carpet backing, snip off the charred fibers and put white glue in the opening. Then snip fibers from a scrap of carpet or an inconspicuous part of the carpet (perhaps in a closet). When the glue gets tacky, poke the fibers into place. If the burn isn't all the way down to the backing, just snip off the charred tips of the fibers with scissors. The slightly shorter length of a few carpet fibers will never be noticed

Woven

Woven carpet is produced on a loom that is very similar to woven cloth, being cut pile. There are numerous different colored yarns being used and the whole process is capable of producing very intricate patterns from designs that are pre-determined. Generally, woven is the highest quality of carpet available.

Tufted

This type of carpet is produced on a tufting machine by using either a single colored or sometimes a non colored yarn. If non colored is being used, then the carpet will be dyed or printed with a design as a separate process. Carpets that are tufted can either be cut pile, loop pile, or a combination of both. Machines can produce a lot more meters of carpet than weaving, and they are usually at the lower end of the market.

Needlefelt

The needlefelt type of carpet is a bit more technologically advanced. They are produced by electrostatic attraction of individual fibers that form a unique carpet with extremely high durability. You can normally find needlefelt carpet in the contract market such as in hotels or other places where there is always going to be a lot of traffic.

Flatweave

The flatweave carpet is created by interlocking warp and weft threads. The types of oriental flatwoven carpet include soumak, plain weave, and tapestry weave. This type is not well known in the North American region, although it is very popular in the orient and Japan.

Hooked rug

This is a simple construction of rug that is handmade by pulling strips of cloth such as wool or cotton through the meshes of a very sturdy fabric. Now, this type of rug is generally known as a handicraft.

Knotted pile

With knotted pile carpets, the structural weft threads will alternate with a supplementary weft that will rise from the surface of the weave at a perpendicular angle.

Cut and loop piles

The cut and loop pile combines both looped and cut fibers. They provide a variety of surface textures for medium durability. Cut and loop carpets are available in either solid or different colors. The several different layers in this carpet can hide dirt and footprints in formal and informal areas.

Saxony

Saxony consists of tightly twisted cut piles that are heat set straight. They consist of two or more fibers that have been twisted together in a yarn, and they provide a very soft texture for informal as well as formal areas. They will show each and every footprint and even marks from vacuum cleaners.

Textured saxony

Textured carpet is the best selling and it works well in informal areas due to the very soft feel. They are tightly twisted and texture headset for medium durability. They also offer a multi colored look that will hide tracks and footprints.

Plush/velvet

Both plush and velvet are lightly twisted and offer a uniform color. They are very soft and offer more level than textures. This type of carpet is ideal for formal areas due to it's luxurious appearance.

Frieze

Frieze is a highly twisted cut pile type of carpet that is suited for high traffic areas. It has short fibers that will tend to curl in different directions at the surface to hide footprints and vacuum marks.

Level loop pile

The level loop pile is constructed by weaving even loops of yarn into carpet backing at both ends. This type of carpet is durable as well as track resistant, due to the strong loops. Higher loops in the carpet will create a more luxurious look. They are also great because they will prevent dirt from filtering on into the carpet.

You are making a party or just gather some friends for dinner. It happens some drops of red wine to go on the carpet. The firts thing after saying Good Bye to your guest is not to leave the wine stain staying all the night. You should manage with it faster.

  2. -take a cotton cloth ,dry it in a hot water.Take the dish-washing solution from your kitchen and pour it on the stain.Wait  2 or 3 minutes while the solution to flow among all the fibres.Take a small brush with thick hairs and begin to rub.The spot will vanish after you go trouhg the carpet with the cloth put in the hot water before that
  3. -soaked the stain with club soda then sprinkled salt. The stain seemed to get darker so  put woolite laundry detergent and rubbed it.Here it gones

FOAM CLEANING: Along with steam cleaning, you can also foam clean carpets. Using a machine similar to a buffer, the shampoo is released onto a brush that works it's way into the fibers of the carpet. After the application, you must wait an hour or two for it to dry. Then vacuum the entire area to remove the dirt.

It is not a complicated procedure and can work well for hallways and large traffic areas. It can be used as part of an ongoing maintenance program to keep heavily used areas cleaned. Since it is very difficult to remove all the shampoo with vacuuming, some of it stays in the carpet. Eventually this residue attracts dirt and must be removed by water extraction, steam cleaning.

SHAMPOO METHOD: This is the oldest way to "clean" carpets. But may be not the practical one.You can use it for your small and  decorative carpets in the kitchen or in front of the fire place. On other hand this is the method which provide full cleaning to all parts of the carpet-edges ,down side and if there are some hard spots. It take a lot of time ,small percentage of cleaning solution -shampoo in this case and-and water. You just take a bucket or another container, put shampoo in the proportion 3 per 1  (water/shampoo).It becomes a foam and of course nice fragrance. You can use a brush with short hairs and began to rub across the carpet. The move should be opposite to the direction of the fibres. After that it is recommended to go across the carpet with a clean wet cloth in reason to gether the dirt foam on it.A litle bit complicated and hard work process for sure. But as a method it still exist.

BONNET CLEANING: Instead of using the shampoo method just discussed, using a bonnet is actually a much better way to go. The bonnet is placed at the base of your buffer. Dip it into a shampoo solution first and then go over the carpet, just as if buffing a floor. The bonnet starts to get soiled. This means it is actually removing dirt from the carpet. Rinse it out, turn it over and keep working with it until it is too soiled to continue. Follow up by vacuuming the carpet once it is dry. Drying time is usually 30 minutes.

DRY METHODS: Now the big debate starts! I have met many people in our industry who believe cleaning carpets using the dry method is the best thing since mom and apple pie. The dry system is actually a three- part procedure. First you sprinkle the solvent on the carpet. It's a powder. The directions say you must allow the powder to stay on the carpet for about 15 minutes. Then, using a special buffer with two rotating heads, you go over the carpet. This rotates the cleaning powder into the carpet. Your final step is vacuum, vacuum, vacuum. As you vacuum, the powder and the dirt it has accumulated is removed. The great thing about the dry method is that there is no drying time whatsoever. For schools, offices, 24-hour facilities, it is best way to go... for a while. My own experience is that eventually the carpet will need to be steam cleaned. Just as in all the methods mentioned above, not all the powder gets removed and it begins to attract dirt itself.

STEAM CLEANING: Finally, we get to the most common carpet cleaning method. To really clean a carpet, deep clean a carpet, it will need to be steam cleaned at least once if not twice per year depending on the use it receives. "Steam" cleaning is really a misnomer for there really is no steam. Hot water with a cleaning solution is extracted via a wand. You go over the carpet a section at a time, overlapping your last pass. As the hot water is extracted, the wand is also vacuuming up the water and the dirt. Some wands have plastic hoses that are clear. When you look at the water being extracted, it often looks brown and dirty. You and your customer can see that the carpet is really being deep cleaned. It is a very good idea to vacuum the carpet first to pick up loose and surface level dirt. Since the carpet takes up to 8 hours to really dry, you cannot vacuum it afterward. However, as it dries, the carpet nap rises and the result is a very clean, fresh and "new- appearing" carpet. The big advances in the water extraction method the past few years have made this one of the best ways to clean carpets. The machines are now more powerful, and, one of the best improvements, the water extraction power has been increased so that drying time is shorter.

To determine which method is best for you depends on how much carpet cleaning you plan to do and how much you can invest. The shampoo and bonnet methods are good to help maintain a customer's carpet. These are the easiest to learn and the least expensive. The dry method does a better job and definitely has it's place in certain situations but there is an investment which must be made and the cleaning process takes time. Steam cleaning is definitely an investment. Go this route only if you plan to offer carpet cleaning as a definite part of your service. If it is a service you plan to offer on a regular basis, steam cleaning will probably be the best way to go.

Your beutiful home really need to be designed with quality carpets. The choice depends on you and the firnuture you have allready bought.Or if you prefer-buy the carpets first. There are several kinds of carpets and you have to pick up some information before deciding which one to buy.It is not only the color but the material too.Another important thing is to find the proper carpet fitting to your floor.

Loop carpet is a favorite in many homes for high traffic areas ,as your kitchen and dining room are.It is also called "level loop" because it is made of loops that are all the same height.Using the same height loops and leaving them uncut creates a level, durable surface that is more resilient to wear and to 'tracking" marks, created by walking and cleaning. You should also look for the materila the carpet is made of.This kind of carpets ,level loop, are mostly made of acrylic.Although you won't likely find a 100% acrylic carpet, these fibres are blended with other fibres such as wool because they approximate the look and feel of natural wool but are less expensive.Avrylic fibres are resistance to moisture, mildew and fading.
